Being Outside

An important part of our day is when we are able to go outside.  The weather is getting colder.  The wind blows and rain is falling. The leaves are changing.  The sun is at a lower angle and not as warm when it shines down.  When we go outside, it's a big change for all of us.  We bundle up as warm as needed and find ways to experience the outdoors.  It might be the wind blowing across skin, the movement of the leaves or grass above us, or the wet grass being grasped by fingers.

By spending time outside, we are aiding the creating of a being who not only has a reverence and understanding for the natural world, but has love and special knowledge of all of it's hidden details.

"To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
An eternity in an hour."
William Blake

    1. Thanks Kierna! I actually wish they were all awake at the same time more often so we could go out as much as possible!
